^THIS….My mom gets onto me about eating things I’m not “supposed” to. I told her that’s what my insulin is for. I make sure to cover the amount of carbs I’m about to eat and while making sure everything is in moderation. That’s how her pancreas works, I just act as my own pancreas giving myself a bolus. She doesn’t agree.
