I have saved every insulin vial and test strip canister since the day I was diagnosed. I should probably have more vials but I was on the humolog Quik Pen for a year before I started on the pump, ( and yes I have all of the pens as well.) I hope to one day make a sculpture or something with all of the materials I’ve saved, as a reminder that with each vial is another month of living, and each canister as another way of becoming a healthier me. 

It’s only been two years. Wow.
